I lived in India for two years, where I was part of Microsoft Research. I
spent most of my time working on improving
the user experience and business model of device-to-device file sharing. I had
the opportunity to present this work to Satya Nadella and the Senior
Leadership Team at Microsoft.
I interned with the
mobile web performance team at
Google the summer of 2013 and the summer of 2014.
I interned with the control cluster team at Nicira (acquired by VMware July 2012) the
summer of 2012.
I interned with the CloudFront team at Amazon
Web Services the summer of 2010.
I've had the opportunity to work with some of the smartest undergrads at Cal:
Jamshed Vesuna, who
joined Robin Hood, Andrew Or,
who spent two years at Databrix and will soon be joining Princeton's PhD
program,
Sam Whitlock, who joined
EPFL's PhD program, Chih Hu,
who is now at VMware,
Eugune Huang, who is now at Box,
and Jefferson Lai, who is now a master's student at Berkeley.
I was a TA for Sylvia Ratnasamy's undergraduate networking
course, taught Fall 2013.
I was a TA for
Scott
Shenker's undergraduate
networking course, taught Fall 2012.
